Understanding Who is Who: Quick Reference Guides on “Smuggling of Migrants and Trafficking in Persons” and “Migrants and Refugees”

RSO has recently published the two quick reference guides on “Smuggling of Migrants and Trafficking in Persons” and “Migrants and Refugees.” The guides offer simple explanations of the terms such as Trafficking in Persons, Smuggling of Migrants, Migrants, Refugees, and summarise their differences.

The two documents aim to promote understanding of who is who and protection concerns with reference to the above key terms. The documents are intended for trainers and practitioners who have roles to work for related issues and provide assistance to individuals with protection concerns, as quick reference guides and tools for training. Additionally, the documents can be used as information materials for the general public to promote their understating of different profiles of individuals and protection implications.

The documents are available for download: Please click here.
