Secondees are drawn from law enforcement officers, border and immigration officials, policy makers and judicial personnel from Bali Process Member States. Secondees work in the RSO offices in Bangkok, Thailand for a four to six month period on a project and programme of work that furthers and contributes to their Member State’s needs as well as Bali Process and RSO objectives.

Expressions of interest
The RSO welcomes expressions of interest from Member States for proposals for secondments. Secondees are funded by their Member State, with the RSO meeting the cost of an economy class return airfare, accommodation, and daily subsistence allowance. Any project-related costs associated with the assignment will be covered by the RSO.
Please get in touch by emailing info@rso.baliprocess.net to discuss potential projects, and for further detail on how the secondment programme operates.
